Audition Information

Thank you for your interest in auditioning to be a part of Soundworks!

To become a member of Soundworks you will need to have a vocal assessment and placement to determine which part you will be auditioning for. We'll want you to attend enough meetings and rehearsals for both of us to really know that we're a good fit, and you'll need to learn one of the songs from our repertoire.

For your audition, you will sing your part, from memory, in a quartet for members of the music team. To help you prepare for this audition, we will provide you with sheet music and voice-predominant learning tracks. We will make sure that you have opportunities to practice this song each week in a quartet setting so that you will be able to successfully "carry your part."

We are dedicated to working effectively and efficiently. We like to learn our music quickly and to spend our group time working on artistry. It's a great method that might be fun for you too!
